Description
Degas's Little Dancer sculpture has such an adorable impish stance she was a great inspiration for another Fairy in the Degas Fairy series. I enjoyed painting her in an enchanted firefly inhabited garden for as I know you will agree, you can't go wrong with a fairy in your garden!

Zan, as this time of contest tribute is nearing its end, I am going thru each image individually to complete the gaze! I also went to Degas’ sculpture to refresh my memory of its timeless appeal. While the original captures the classical pose and the determined ownership of a young woman’s commitment to the exactitude of pose and interpretation of dance...YOUR painted fey curls up her toes and “plays” in her costume...SHE has wings to fly and the Magic of Enchanted Garden Light at her stage! She also has a Peter Pan FEEL of impish glee...her friends are FIREFLIES!! Does it get ANY BETTER?? MAGIC,.. .. LIGHT and COLOUR ever remain at your service...STUNNING!
